Mexican Night!

Zac and I went to El Jalisco in Blountstown this evening to welcome home Adam McCoy from his mission. For those of you who don't know who that is, he is my friend Kristin's brother. The Mariachi Band was playing tonight and Zac loves it when they are there. He thinks they are AWESOME! They really are good though. We had a great time hangin' out with everybody and visiting. Zac sat at a different table away from me with his friend Sidney, (she is 13) and his pre-k teacher from last year Mrs. Pam. She said he just reached over her arm with a chip a started eating her beans right off of her plate! He is definitely not shy! Thank goodness she loves him and she thought it was funny! I could hear his loud mouth from across the room. He was having a blast! I'm not so sure if everyone else at the table with him was having so much fun! I really enjoyed my dinner across the room:)
My friend Leslie's mom, Mrs. Gyll showed Zac how to cover his teeth with foil, of course he thought that was a FABULOUS idea! He just loves what he calls "Golden Teeth." He wanted to put more foil on his teeth as soon as we got home. Thanks Mrs. Gyll!

Here is Zac with my BFF Kristin and one of Zac's big time buddies! He loves to hang out with Ms. Kristin and Ms. Whitney. Kristen teaches Kindergarten at his school so he sees her every day. He just loves her! We are so lucky to have such great friends!

Graduation Day!

" Do I look cool or what? Whoever said a cap and gown had to look all intellectual and everything?"
"Ok Nana, I'm really not sure why you have me out here by this rusty old building to take pictures of me in my cap and gown."
"Hey, what's up everybody?"
Here are some of the decorations that my baby almost knocked over before graduation even started! That's my boy!
"Ok, I have stood up here for almost an hour and done what I was told, and now you want me to stand here so you can take ANOTHER PICTURE! Enough is Enough!"Zac has been working hard all year in Kindergarten and his big day had finally come, Graduation Day! He was so excited about wearing his cap and gown and his tassel. He looked so handsome! I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast! When he walked in to the graduation processional he knocked over the cardboard 2008 decoration, and the look on his face was priceless! He was like "Oh Well!" It was so funny! He did a great job on all the songs and stood like he was supposed to. I am so proud of him. He was so glad that Daddy Jim and Mama Shirley came all the way from "Tallyhassee" to see him graduate! And thank you Aunt Jecca for doing a party for Zac and Jordan at your house! We love you! My friend Kristin McCoy came over afterwards to visit and when she was leaving she told him she was sorry she didn't get him a graduation present. He said "you did get me a present, you.....here.... that is my present from you." He is such a smooth talker isn't he! Sometimes I don't know how he comes up with the things he says. He always keeps me on my toes!

Swim Time!

Zac just had to cool down and rest to prepare for Kindergarten Graduation. He wanted to wear his mask and flippers and dive for lost treasure in the bottom of the ocean. He would live in the pool if I would allow it. His cousin, baby Thor had a blast in his new swing on the deck watching Zac swim. Afterwards they enjoyed reading a book together. My two cute boys!

Water Day!

Zac's Class had a water day at school and I just had to get some pics of him all dressed. He was so excited and ready to pose for the camera. Mom went to take pictures of all the kids and she said he was too busy playing to pose for her pictures. He was actually too busy laying on towels in the sun between two little girls! Just like an Eikeland man! Already a Heart Breaker!

Field Trip

The Kindergarten at Zac's school went on a field trip to the pioneer settlement in Blountstown. They got to learn about all of the old buildings, see the animals, make butter, and learn about the "old school days" as Zac calls it! The kids had a lot of fun. The first picture is of Zac and his cousin Jordan in the flower garden.

Getting Started!

Hey Everybody!
I am so excited about this whole blog thing! I don't have a clue what I am doing, but I am going to give it a shot! I am starting my blog to keep everyone up to date on what Zac and I are up to. Also, I love to look at everyone else's blogs and now I can comment back and forth and keep in touch with friend's and family. Well, school is almost out and we have a summer full of excitement ahead of us! So, get ready to share in our fun on Cayla's Corner!
